Let me start by saying I am pro-whatever-the-bride-wants on her wedding day. I support your choices 1000% and together we WILL make your dream wedding come true. Yes, I am a photographer and will be your photographer for the day. But I’m also your friend and go to girl to make things happen. I take charge and make sure things are getting done and getting done correctly. No halfassness around here.
The reason I have chose to talk about first looks is because it was recently a topic of discussion with one of my 2019 brides…and because I have some pretty pictures of a first look to post!
As a photographer, I am all for first looks. Let me explain why:
It’s more intimate. It’s just the two of you and ME :) (or close family and friends if you’d prefer) when you see each other all dressed up and looking perfect for the first time. You can truly take in this intimate moment with your significant other without the distraction of everyone else around.
Pictures can be taken before the ceremony. Which is beneficial for two reasons.
One- If the weather is going to be sucky later we can get those portraits of you and your honey banged out before that storm rolls in.
Two- We can use any extra time before the ceremony to take pictures so you have more time to enjoy your reception.
I know I’ve only listed a few reasons why I suggest a first look but I promise they are so important to consider when planning your perfect wedding day. But either way…girl, I got your back. I’ll be sure to capture your first look whatever way you choose!
